celebrity spa suite?

Anybody ever stay in a celebrity spa suite at MGM grand? Going there with my wife in August and was thinking about getting that room.

I havent stayed in one, but ive stayed in the terrace suites which are ridiculous. but any type of suite is a nice upgrade where you can hag out and drink and actually move around, if the price is right id do it.

Completely agree with this one...especially if you're with a group of people.

No one like to hang out in a room with 2 beds and a small sofa/desk. Much better to have a common room with a few couches and/or dining room bar area.

It's socially acceptable to sit 3 on a couch, but not 3 on a bed....unless you're getting kinky.

I stayed in one on my Labor Day Weekend Trip last year. They are a bit dated but still very nice. Bathroom is enormous and the seating area is great for your pre parties & after parties. My only complaint, no flat screen tv, just the old fashion 27 inch tube.

I think MGM is beginning to do renovations on their rooms...cause like all of them are so dated, with a lot of gold in the bathrooms and the big tvs.
There are some pretty good promos out there for the spa suite if you look around

Yea i found one for $80 bucks a night. Seems like a good deal so i booked it.

There are some pretty good promos out there for the spa suite if you look around

I was at the MGM on my trip, and omg.. the tvs! I couldn't believe it... big assed crts televisions, ahahaha.

I got that same deal when I booked w. Expedia for the MGM (June 5-9). I used all the benefits except the spa stuff.

Not when I booked, I imagine that's the same deal I got.

It was available during the weekends but the starting rate did go up,not much though. The upgrade was still only $30 a night.

I got flights for 150 round trip leaving monday morning then take the redeye out friday night/sat morning 1 am, thats why i didnt book during the weekend. The whole trip cost us under 700 for the week.
