    PROs
    • The beds were incredibly comfortable and had 3 pillows each with varying firmness.
    • The sound system came in hand when we were getting ready. I discovered 98.5 KLUC and 97.5 KVEG <3.
    • The TV in the bathroom mirror was cool.
    • The electronic window treatments were also a nice feature.
    • Mini fridge was awesome to have... Especially when the only thing you want is an ice cold bottle of water and you are unable to stumble 6 miles down the hallway to find the vending machine.

    CONs
    • The frosted wall and 'door' of the bathroom. You could definitely see through them.
    • The awkward bathroom sink. I feel bad for the poor maids that have to clean them.
    • That awful striped wall paper. It's trippy.
    • Not enough counter space in the washroom!
    next time 94.5 is amazing!!!

I stayed at the Flamingo in September (comped) and didn't mind it too much. I don't mind that much when the rooms are old and not that nice. I care more about being center strip and not paying too much as I'd rather spend money on drinks, food and gambling.
The problem with the ants would be a different story...

Stayed at the Flamingo in Aug and was expecting this place to be a dump. But, it was a last minute decision to take the trip and it was cheap, plus a great location so we booked it. Upon check-in, we asked the girl at the desk if we could get a room with a view and while they didnt have any with a view of the strip they upgraded us instead. It wasnt a GO room, but it was a pretty nice suite. Wasnt sure how great of an upgrade it was until we walked by a room that basically just had 2 beds and a window. Had no problem with the staff and definitely didnt see any ants. Only negative was they took quite a bit of my money in the casino! haha And the cycle continues....
The year prior, I stayed at the Ballagio that is obviously much more fancy. But I would definitely stay at the Flamingo again and use the money I save on going out or gambling...

2012: Flamingo GO room (Sept. 5-8th)
