  • Vegas! Nightclub question.

Been reading the forums for a few months, just signed up. You guys really brought vegas nightlife to the web, and its appreciated. With all the info here it makes figuring everything out that much easier in advance.

Anyway, on to my question. Im leaving for Vegas in a week and a half, staying 9 nights, 10 days (Mon July 29th- Wen July 8th). Since we are in Vegas so long, we want to spread our partying nights out.

    So far we have:

    Mon: Gamble

    Tue: Bottle Service at Pure

    Wen: Gamble, Strip Club

    Thur: Bottle Service Tao

Fri: Jay-Z concert at the Palms, should we stay here to party after, or try to make our way to XS?

Sat July 4th: Clueless, but need to make reservations somewhere soon. Maybe XS if we stay at Palms on fri...

    Sun: Rehab,

    Mon: gamble

Tue: not sure how to end the trip, maybe back at Pure

Any suggestions for any of these nights will be appreciated.

yeah the partying adds up, but thats what I go to vegas for. I can gamble near home, but the nightlife in Vegas cant be matched IMO.

Im a low roller in Vegas when it comes to gaming. I play craps and poker and when Im drunk Ill play roulette and BJ.

sounds like a game plan, but its tough to stick to a plan in vegas. I really dont think I would go near XS, everything ive heard is that its a real pain in the arse and it could be a downer ESPECIALLY on a holiday weekend. after the concert I would just stay at the palms as for the 4th its gonna be out of control and anywhere you go get there real early and try to be as patient (unlike me) as you can.

thanks for the help. friday we prob will stay at the palms.

Do you think if we waited until saturday the 4th, we could walk up to a club and just get bottle service? or do you think its imperitive to make reservations with a host.

*just a quick note, before I found this website for this trip, I was planning on doing what I normally do to get bottle service. Walk up to the person with the clipboard and ask for a table with a few bottles, while giving that said person a tip. Have never been turned down before, but also have never been on a holiday weekend.

maybe????? but I would probably contact a host, who will prob tell you there is a host fee and if you get that set up you will be fine....just understand that the "tip" or host fee whatever you want to call it increases on holidays

                +1 NYC

Considering the size tip it would take on a holiday weekend, my money would be better off somewhere else. BUT thats just me.

What would the tip be? We will only have a group of 2-6 people for my bottle service nights, half guys half girls.... I usually tip between 100-200 to the person with the clipboard depending on how many people I walk in with.

unfortunately the host fee could be as high as $500 depending on where you go.....its the downside of the holidays!! and this is all established beforehand which is why you might not be able to grab a table the night of, the tables will prob all be sold!

Wait wait, i didnt know about said "host fee". I thought they just take tips at the front. So when i head out there for Labor Day weekend am i gonna have to expect to tip a huge amount the host who i am going back and forth with? So far in the e-mails they gave me all the pricing and everything but they didnt mention anything about a host fee. I havent offically set anything up with them yet, ut when i give him my name and everything is he going to be like "Oh by the way..."?

at XS I would think $500 would be on the very low end at the clipboard.

$500 huh...... if we have a group of 5 or 6 i dont mind throwing 100 each if its necessary. But if its just 2 people, thats a little rediculous.

I know that they were doing it on memorial day, im not saying that it will def happen but be prepared to be hit with this, one way to counteract it is to be upfront with the host and make him fully aware that you will be taking care of him and then make sure there will be no hidden or pop up fees.

it prob wont be that high for 2 peeps but be prepared for $100/head and they might require a 2 bottle min even for 2 people.....this is why I always stay away on holidays
