First Night In Vegas with 5 Virgins

Hi Guy

I will be traveling to vegas next year from the uk with my girlfriend and two other couples who are all vegas virgins all of us in our early 30's

we arrive on a wednesday at 11am staying at PH Towers
i was just wondering any ideas on what to do on the first night.....................?

Depends on what you like, clubs, bars, something else?

First night with those who have never been I would suggest maybe just taking a walk and soaking up Vegas as a whole.... If you've never seen the place its something else at night. Just do the fountain show, volcano, pirate show etc etc.... take a lap through some of the casinos to see which ones you like/don't like and get some of the more lame touristy stuff out of the way --- you can drink on the streets so boozing the who time isn't an issue.

I have a trip coming up with 3 of our 6 people being virigins and we land at 1:30pm. Current plan is:
Drink hard on the plane (Delta sky club + Delta drink tickets).
Drink hard in the limo - doing the Bella Vita 90 min airport pickup deal - enough time to get booze and cruise up and down the strip to show the newbys Vegas.
Check in, get settled, drink in the room a bit
Stroll up/down the strip a bit
Find somewhere for everyone to catch up (half of us haven't seen each other in months) then when we're tired, go to be and be ready for the week to come.

I wouldn't burn yourself out on night one, travel takes a toll (especially crossing the pond).

I would imagine seeing Vegas the first time would be awesome and can be overwhelming. Its like no other place and you have to take it all in and then figure out what will work best with your group.

Just my 2 cents with this, i travelled over on a Wednesday after a 10 hour flight we thought we would hit the town landed in vegas at 5pm by the time we checked in got dressed and went out drinking it was about 8pm drank until 2am and woke up friday (yes friday) morning, so listen to those who say don't go mental on your first night as you will regret it (although i was ultra refreshed friday morning

haha damn. I think part of that was the jetlag. lol.

For some you have to consider recovery time. haha. So if youre not familiar with Vegas, pace yourself and plan it out. You don't want to miss a night where you really want to be at a club where its going to be happening. I've had friends overdo themselves on a Friday night and end up sleeping all day Sat and not end up going out with us on Sat nite.

I will try and give the best advice I can here - keeping in mind that there are so many more questions that could be asked to really make the trip special. If you're a planner - get all the food spots chosen in advance - then plan your trip around those spots and the clubs for nightlife.

So many couples activities in the city it'll make your head spin. Taking in the strip on the first day, moving through the tourist spots on Thursday, and then partying Friday & Saturday.

When the trip gets closer - ask more specific questions on here - that way you'll get the best answers and deliver a great time for your friends!
