7,500 to 10k depending on wether it's a 2 or 3 night stay. I have a rule that I never take money home. That way if I lose at the tables I don't feel bad and if I win I spend the winnings on extra booze and strippers; then waste the rest.

thats a crazy rule...but i totally get it...just curious cause 10K is a pretty hefy amount...if you lose hat 10K do you dip in more to try to get the back...not because your gonna take it home but just because you want to win back losses and spend them on non-gaming activities..booze and strippers

I usually try and budget so much a day to spend and I've dipped into the next days budget before, but I won't spend more than I inteneded to for the trip. If my group had a table somewhere on the last night and I was tapped out I would go into other $ to pay my share but that's never happened before. On the last day if I'm running low I'll stand up from the table when I'm down to a few hundred $'s. I only make 2-3 trips into town a year so I try and go all out while I'm there.

That takes some will power man. Most ppl i know do not have the ability to not chase losses esp if the amount they are gambling with becomes more than a couple grand. Didn't know if that was a normal thing (chasing) or if I just hang around degenerate gamblers.

I definitely agree with goin all out every time youre there. In my opinion, LV is not a place to be on a tight budget.

The poll seems to be about what I figured. I'm surprised more ppl don't chase their losses. I must be surrounded by degenerates.

I've always found that usually the people who chases losses are always the ones that tend to blow their wad on one or two hands, trying to make money quick. I for one enjoy betting the minimum, while knocking back a few drinks. To me it's more about enjoying the experience than hitting pay dirt.
