  • Question: Marquee Marathon Bands - Do They Work?

For Oct 7-10, the cost is $200 for men. Gets you in to the night and day clubs. The website mentions "VIP", but its not clear to me whether that is no line access or just wait in line like presale tickets.

Also not clear if the girl/guy ratio applies.

    Any feedback?

    Thanks

Its the same line as presale which really isn't an issue since that line is usually empty and when it isn't it moves fast.

No ratio restriction but if more guys than girls we usually have extra guys go in pairs so its not 4+ guys walking up at once.

Since it really is the same as presale, add up which nights/days you plan on going and compare it to the $200 and either buy the wristband or a bunch of individual presales.

      Thanks! That's helpful

You say "we" - do you work there? Just trying to make sure I am listening to the right people ;-)

      Thanks again!

We as in the people I go with. Haha sorry definitely don't work there! Every time I'm in Vegas I end up at Marquee nightclub at one point or another which is 4+ times recently and in my experience that's the way its been for presales and wristbands. I'm also usually there by 11 so I'm not sure what the presale line looks like at midnight or when the big rush is.

          Got it. thanks!

I agree with your suggestion that if its really the same as presale, then we might as well see if presale's the cheaper way to go!

Just wondering, is there a time restriction on these wristbands? Heading to Tao for a hens on the 15th Oct, and we wanted to check out Kaskade afterwards, so thinking after 2-3 am?

2-3 am there shouldn't be much of a line... But it may be one in, one out since Kaskade is there. It all depends.

I wouldn't go wristband for getting there that late though.

Thanks so much for the response, it's such a good price for 2 nights, to see kaskade in aus we'd prolly have to pay $100+

Just to close the loop on this, I did call Marquee. Here's the takeaway:

                  1) same line for presale tickets and wristband, ie, faster access. Thus, if you plan on attenign just a night or two, individual presale tickets might be cheaper
                  2) recommended that we get there by 11, at least on big nights
                  3) print out is a must! so is dress code
                  4) you have in/out privileges, but not recommended on busy nights

                  Enjoy!

Yea I'm guessing the only time limit is if they're open. As chrisbru said the only real restriction on presales is if there's a door hold because the place is at capacity which seems to happen pretty much every time Kaskade is there.

Also as a guy, if a certain night sells out, in my opinion paying around $100 or whatever it is that NON-holiday weekend for a wristband even just for one night is better than that general admission line.

So to close the loop on this - we used the presale tickets last weekend. It was pretty painless - separate line and all. No wait. Only downside is that they make you trek up a few flights of stairs...but that's better then standing in line. Right?
