Lil Jon @ Surrender / EDX @ Marquee

Hey everyone. I'm going to be in Vegas with 3 of my buddies on 10/10 (TH) and 10/11 (FRI). Doing table service Thursday most likely at Tao. Friday is where I'm torn. 3 of my friends haven't been to Vegas in 3 years and I really wanted to take them to Marquee and just purchase advance tickets. Table service is probably out of the question 2 nights in row as Saturday we leave for Vancouver for 4 days and need to allocate the funds throughout the trip. My problem is EDX is at Marquee, and I'm not really familar with his stuff. Has anybody ever seen him? What are his sets like? Go figure the next day Kaskade is going to be at Marquee (grrr). Lil Jon is at Surrender also on Friday night. Does he play a mix of hip hop and house? My freinds are more prone to a mixture of stuff then strictly EDM. I know at least at Marquee we could hop between the rooms. Any thoughts? Thanks guys.

Both are great venues.. You'll have fun at either. For me personally, marquee is a given whenever Im in Vegas.

I saw Lil Jon at EBC in May (well, kinda... He didn't come on until like 5 so I was pretty faded). I think he did like one or two hip hop songs, then Dj'd a mostly house set.

I'd personally suggest EDX at Marquee, which will be house focused. The setup will be in the main room, and you can always venture to Boombox to get some hip hop/top 40 in. Plus, if you've never been, you definitely should... The venue is amazing.

Thanks for the reply guys. I've been to Marquee a handful of times already. Definitely my favorite club to date in Vegas. It's just my freinds haven't. I just wish there was a bigger name DJ there on Friday. Still probably leaning towards there a bit, only because Surrender is much smaller, and I know myself and my buddies are not gonna want to feel suffocated if we don't have a table. It is good to know though that Lil Job plays a mostly house set.
