Table Bookings

hey guys, touching down this friday, and was wondering what the go was when it comes to booking tables?

How far in advance should you look at doing this before the night in question?

Any help would be appreciated.

I e-mailed hosts around 1-2 weeks before flying out then confirmed with them by text on the day to make sure we was all set and what time to get down. You shouldn't have a problem if you contact them now though.

Be aware though you may not be able to text/ring US numbers from your Aussie phone. It doesn't work from UK numbers so I bought a cheap pay as you go phone over there to contact hosts.

Not sure why you couldnt get in touch with US numbers over there.

Not a problem for me with my UK contract phone. Texting and calling was fine, think it depends on your settings.

Hmm that's odd, I've heard quite a few people mention problems with UK phones, maybe it depends on networks or settings like you say. Either way I probably saved myself a few quid by not using my UK phone.
