My condolences go out to all the Vegas fans out there. I hate you guys with a passion but still felt for you guys last night! 51-3 at one point last night..ROUGH. UNLV did manage to screw my straight bet by scoring a couple late TD's.

Anyways, I have a feeling Nevada could be in the same position next Saturday up in Oregon...

To the UNLV fans if there are any on here, what are your expectations for the season?? Realistic, might I add....

I graduated from UNLV and I've never been a big fan of the Mountain West. Even when I went there I just got drunk at the games. They just can't compete with the Big 10 or Pac 12. I went to graduate school in Ohio and I love the Big 10. Wisconsin is a tough team. There were Ohio State's only loss last year. I think BYU and Utah leaving the Mountain West is only going to f&ck it up more.

Oh btw, I m a FSU Bulldog alumni and I think this is the last year we get to play the WAC. Mountain West BCS conference is going to be an upgrade!

The Mountain West isn't a BCS conference. They're a non-AQ conference just like the WAC.

I agree. Oregon losing didn't do us any favors. This will give us a legitimate first hand look at what this team is made of. I'm worried about the 2nd team D. We'll see though...

Yeah I post over there sometimes. Too bad AWP left that site, he's a good guy and wrote some great stuff. Mark and Brad are good guys too though and will probably keep that going strong.

My hope is that the Pack defense can hold them down enough to keep the offense close. Tough, tough game for Tyler to make his first start in.

Thats what I thought. You don't see too many "DarthKaepernick" handles floating around on boards..I'm for sure gonna miss AWP. He provided Wolf Pack coverage and insight like no one before. Make sure you read Santoro's new stuff. He is excellent if you didn't know him before. He's not a sugar coater if you know what I mean. He tells it like it is.

Anyways, a very tough 1st game to start indeed, but its not like he hasn't seen big crowds before although I hear they keep it rockin @ Autzen..

I was that the Oregon vs Nevada game last weekend. I will say that I saw some good things out of the Wolfpack. There is some pretty good size at some to the skill positions which will cause some teams some real match-up problems.

We've got Mizzu State tomorrow... Utah was scheduled, but then they were added to the conf, so we had an opening. Mizzu State needed the money... it's something like $450,000 for them. The only site I've seen post odds has the spread at 55.5....ugh

Looks like a GREAT game to really get drunk and not care what happens....haha
