Vegas Like Alternative

It appears I can get a hall pass for three trips per year. Vegas in May, Vegas in August and one other early in the year. I really like the pool parties. Day clubs are in my mind much more fun than night clubs. Any suggestions for location (in the US, preferably on the East Coast because 5 of 6 of us live on the East Coast)? Is Miami cool? I don't think it would be warm enough during the day for pool parties. I don't want to wait 2 months for the Miami board to come online.

Miami should be good year round. South beach is the place to be. The gavensport as well of a number of top hotels have pool parties. However the beach is really social and a good time. A lot of people rent chairs get buckets and then party it up! There are also happening beach bars that are great for meeting people.

my boys and i always used to hit south beach every spring. it was our annual vacay. to me it fell off alot. back in the early 2000's there used to be a ton of foot traffic on ocean drive on the weekends and every club on collins and washington was jam packed. last few years we went was horrible. its been awhile since i been back so it could be good again. last time i was there was for the superbowl in '06.

I've heard alot of good things about LIV on sundays. Im tempted to go down there just to check it out. everyone's saying its the hottest club in the country on sundays.
