  • Azure Dayclub worth it? ($20 open bar)

Hey guys I know I'm new and I hope people don't see me as spam but I found that deal on Foursquare.

I didn't see it listed in the best pools post so I wanted to ask.

Also signed up on the iPhone so I couldn't add a pic but I've been reading jack Colton for weeks.

any type of deal for open bar for $20 is worth considering one drink avg. $15 in Vegas.

As far as Azure pool, from what I know its not a pool party. Its more a laid back topless hotel pool at the Ceasars with some DJ music.

I saw that same deal on travelzoo. Azure is in the Palazzo. I checked out the reviews on Yelp and I decided against going. Post a review if you try it out and the deal is worth a shit.

We've actually been banned from the $20 open bar deals (although not from Azure). Management usually has some sort of disclaimer where they can deny you the deal if you look like you can pack away a good amount of booze, or if you have a WI ID.
Never offer an open bar to a Wisconsinite... =)

I've been kicked out for abusing open bars before...

              +1 for the Wisconsin ID.

I can think of a few times in PCB where we were banned from open bars and/or drinking games at bars because of where we were from.
The Rose Bowl last year too ... went with a roomie on a stop before our Vegas trip and there were so many places that had limits for Wisconsin drinkers. Bullshit I tell ya.

Ive actually been to Azure. Went on MDW this year, and had a really good time. Donald Glaude was spinning and they had a few guys playing bongo drums in front of the pool to his music. The staff was friendly, pretty small place, but had a good amount of people. Id go for sure.

+1 our Tao Beach open bars is pretty much drink until you are too f'd up. No one has been banned, infact we killed so many drinks we were like NO more the last 15 minutes of that one hour open bar.

We actually didn't have time to check out the party do we never bought the Groupin. Being in Vegas for the first time there is too much to see in 3 days. We actually only got to a club at 3 am one night. Sad I'm missing Labour day weekend but that have been a bit pricey since our first stop on vacay was Miami for 4 days.

Fontainebleau hands down for anyone who is thinking Miami.

I did the Groupon for this. It definitely wasn't busy the day I went (it was Sunday and it was raining), but like Darryl said, an open bar is an open bar. It definitely wasn't top shelf liquor (the liquor came out of plastic bottles!), but they weren't chintzy on the portions.

But, because it wasn't busy, it was quite quick and easy to get refills.

I had great company to do the open bar with and I'd do it again.

I gather they frown on allowing Canadians to attend
