    Hi All,

Just looking for some advice hotel wise, i am going to be in Vegas with some friends for first part of my holiday next July. For the second part my mum is flying into Vegas from Portugal where she lives (am from UK). I have been to Vegas a few times so have good ideas where to stay with my freinds. I just wondered if people could advise some good places to stay and why with my mum, shes 66 years old, still quite mobile, in terms of budget not the highest like Bellagio etc but something that is a decent hotel maybe tier down the top ones. When have been before with freinds have stayed at Luxor, MGM Grand and TI, thanks for any help

Any of the three hotels you mention are decent hotels. You should also look into the Mirage, Harrahs and maybe even the trop and excalibur. They sometimes have good deals and they are also decent hotels...

PM VegasLuxury on this site if you are looking for a vegas hotel deal. He is legit and saved me a ton of money with an awesome rate for a 2 bedroom suite at the PH towers in oct!

FWIW, Flamingo Go-room north tower is Very close to the strip. If mum is still quite mobile, best to put that to use seeing the town as opposed to walking 500 meters just to get to the strip.

I might work backwards based on what Mum will enjoy this trip- will you want to be on site of a certain cirq show, would great shopping attached to the resort be a plus, is there any day or night that's gonna be planned around her 'must see list'...?

MY MOM would probably want a classy quiet non-casino resort just off the strip, but then, she's a slightly immobile 73

Ph towers is nice but don't think the extra walking around the mall would suite a 66 year old regardless of how mobile she is. I expect tonnes of walking around the strip as it is. I'd say Flamingo would be the best bet as the rooms are quite close to the strip and location is great.

The venitian is super friendly for the elderly, the indoor rivers are nice. All bigger rooms and priced fair.

I have deliberately chosen to stay at the Flamingo at the Go Rooms even when "better" hotels were available. You just cannot beat the Flamingo for location and access
