Visiting for a week in Sept.

My wife and I (37-38)are visiting Las Vegas Sept. 21-26. Is $2k too little to have to have a good time? (this is just pure spending $$, not room & food)

Any grand canyon lux. tour recommendations? (for her, I will be on business).

Is VIP (table service) worth it for only 2 people?

Depends on what you consider a good time. I think most people on this site could have a good time with their significant other for 2k for a week not including room and food.

I don't have tour recommendations for you but I DO have some ideas for you. For tours and other things try discount sites like:

groupon
livingsocial
travelzoo (right now they have a Comme Ca dinner deal from the Cosmo that is romantic and fun, they also have a pool deal)
yipit.com (it takes ALL the discount sites and puts all the offers on one page)

A lot of the time these sites will have great tours and half off. Just don't get to crazy and make sure you are buying things you WILL use.

As for bottle service for two. This really depends on how you both like to party. I think with your budget you will be cutting pretty deep. Even for second tier clubs you are looking at $500cheapest out the door.

I think as a couple vegas can be super fun if you go to smaller venues and have a nice meal. So a nice meal with wine and views and romance and then maybe go to Lavo or Blush. I really like Blush for being a couple at. It's intimate and not hollow feeling.

I am currently planning a nice couples weekend and I think you get more bang for your buck at the dayclubs. So if you like to see your lady in her bikini and have REALLY dark shades to check out other ladies and not get caught (dont worry she will be doing the same thing lol) then get a day bed or chair during the day.

Nikki beach has great saturday rates and is intimate and new. (Contact Adam on the host list he was VERY quick in getting back to me)
Tao beach has good rates and is super fun.
Daryll might also be able to give you options if you text him, he is also really good about getting back to one fast.

Some other ideas for a couple to save money while still enjoying nice things is to have dinner AT Lavo or Tao and then getting your hand stamped for addmission to go in. Then you can check out Tao and not spend money you weren't already going to spend. (I assume you and your lady are planning to go eat somewhere nice or whatever)

Ok, last idea for you and your lady. If you want to go to a show you can check out Travelzoos entertainment deals as they have Zumanity for $55. Also when you walk the strip you will see booths from Tix4tonite. You can totally trust them and they have great prices on shows, you just don't know until the day what they will have for that night. Go to their website and get their txts and you can get in the shorter line.

Then totally go for the day clubs! And smaller venues at night where you can pre drink a little and giggle together and dance.

I would recommend Nikki Beach very much for Saturday. It'll be chill and the F&B min Adam will give you will be good for a daybed. Plus I like F&B mins at dayclubs because even if you didn't have a chair you would probably spend that money anyway eating and drinking. So it just makes sense.

I have never been to Azure pool. Kinda gets crap reviews but if you ALREADY have your lady with you, then how could you not have fun and people watch. Go on travelzoo and get their $20 a person deal and you will get the open bar they have. You can get a chair for $50 F&B and with a menu from Wolfgang it's going to be yummy. Moreover go on a Sunday, use your open bar until 1pm then pay another $50 (this does not count toward your chair) and get a champange open bar. Use your $50 f&B mins toward yummy brunch and you have a fun day by the pool.

I've stayed there! Great value! They have a shuttle that'll drop u right off at Bills on strip. And they sell booze at fair prices at the hotel store.

Id def go to pool parties during the day as the pool isn't the most awesome and kid heavy.

that should be enough money for a little fun. Table service not worth it for 2, and out of your budget frankly.

Thanks for the honest replies. Sounds like table service is designed for larger groups anyway.
