Wet Republic Fridays / Sundays

Hi All

Long time lurker first time poster! Loads of great insight on here but just got a quick Q about Wet.

Me & my group (all guys) will be staying at the MGM, and heard that on fridays and sundays that residents can get into the WR pool party cover free. I'm sceptical, anyone know what the reality is?

Also, we land from the UK midday on friday, based on the above will we be able to gain entry on that day to WR at around 2pm once we're all checked in etc?

friday you should be ok no problem-
sunday is usually a big name dj but probably still possible- when checking in to your room get tickets/ passes from front desk

When we went last summer we got in for free on a Sunday, but we had also booked a deal from the MGM website I think I found on smartervegas.com that came with wristbands for access to both MGM and Hakkasan all weekend that we got at checkin. When we showed the guy at the front of the line he said he didn't even know they still did the wristbands, so it seemed like they dont do it too often but who knows, plus a lot can change in a year in Vegas, but it worked and it was a Tiesto Sunday. Thats the only day we went tho, awesome time especially for free!

There are also usually promoters who stand right outside the entrance to the regular MGM pool that can get you into Wet Republic for free. My buddy and I were there on a Friday or Saturday and weren't even planning to go to Wet and we were walking back from the regular pool when they stopped us so we figured we might as well check it out.
