Pool parties 13th september 2015 Advice needed.

Hi all,

Myself and 3 friends will be traveling to vegas from the uk on the 10th september. It is one of our birthdays on the 13th and are looking to hit a pool party. We are staying at the hardrock and have been debating Rehab, however none of us have done a vegas pool party before so want to make sure we hit the right place! we are looking to get a table/cabana/daybed. We are all 25 - 26 and male.

Also looking for some insight on drink prices at the different venues.

Any advice or anyone with experience of the pool parties advice is more than welcome.

Pass on Rehab.

I have stayed at HR 4 times in the last 2 years with the most recent in May 2015 only because my room has been comped. Rehab had its day and has been passed by all of the pools on the strip.

Zedd on Friday or Guetta on Saturday at EBC will be solid. I have only done Sat and Sun's there so I can't say how big the crowd gets on a Friday. Saw Zedd in May and he did a pretty good set. Calvin Harris at Wet on the 12th will also be a good choice but I am burned out by him due to seeing him enough times.

If you haven't been to HR before definitely do Culinary Dropout and ask for a table out by the pool which it is alongside and both there and Pink Taco have very good happy hours. Mr. Luckys is a great 24 hour spot but go early for breakfast or else there will be a wait which then slows down the service. If spots are open at the bar take those as they are first come first serve.

thanks for the reply, i have been hearing that a bit! Encore looks like it could be up there for us...has anyone had any experience wit hthe foxtail party at the SLS? some good table deals on offer, its EC twins there but i dont actually have a clue who they are! can anyone give any details on the foxtail? its starting to drive me alittle mad, theres so much going on!

I've actually seen EC Twins before and I've been to Foxtail. EC Twins were probably the best DJs I've seen at Tao (back when Tao was more relevant), but I'd probably go elsewhere if you are coming all the way from the UK. Foxtail makes for an upgrade from most hotel pools, but it isn't the same as a proper pool party like EBC or Wet Republic.

If you are in Vegas from September 10th, are you going to pool parties on the 11th and 12th? With 3 pool parties I'd probably do Rehab one day just for the convenience and I'm pretty sure entrance for 2 is included with your room, then I'd do the best pool party in town EBC using presale tickets, and then perhaps Foxtail or Tao Beach for a cheap daybed experience.

Decided to pass on the foxtail from reading reviews, gone for EBC on sunday 13th, got a patio table at a pretty good price! From reading everyones comments it seems the best one about! We may do another but will only decide when we are there as we have a lot planned already!

Appreciate the replies definitely helped us make up our minds!

Foxtail is not live at all. Definitely not the place you want to go after traveling across the pond. The comparison to a slightly better hotel pool is pretty much spot on.

Made the mistake of going to Foxtail the last time I was in town. The place was absolutely dead, and the hotel is not near anything.

I also agree that Rehab isn't worth going to anymore. Much better options out there.
