Pool Party Advice

I will be in Vegas Saturday and Sunday during LDW. What would be good day pool parties to hit? I've been to Vegas once before I saw Zedd at EBC. I loved EBC and would be looking for a similar experience. Thanks!

Also, any suggestions for a good club to attend Sat night? I've been to Marquee, Light, and 1OAK.

Is the atmosphere at Drais Beach Club similar to EBC? Assuming everywhere will be slammed LDW, right?

EBC and Wet are the top 2 pool parties. Marquee is still prob up there as well.

You have your pick for saturday. without looking at schedule I'd say XS, Omnia, or Marquee depending on your dj preference.

Thanks! Considering Hardwell at Hak on Sat night because I have a contact who can likely get me on a staff guestlist. What type of music does Hardwell play?

On Sat 9/5, EBC (Avicci) is $100 for guys presale, whereas Wet Republic (Tiesto) is $30 for guys presale. If the experiences are both top notch, I'd definitely prefer to save the cash. Thoughts?

Not a strong fan of either but I would go Tiesto first. Personally 3LAU at Drais is where I would be as I am more about the dj than the location. Being it's LDW it should very solid everywhere.

Thanks, kp3205. How does the atmosphere and size of Drais compare with EBC or Wet? Why do you prefer 3LAU as a DJ?

EBC and Wet in my mind #1 and #2 for party and size hands down. Those are the go to places to have that LV mega pool experience. They are big name draws that will bring in the crowds. Party atmosphere is great at all 3 but EBC and Wet dominate.

For me 3LAU is the new kid on the block who has more of an open format/mashups/creativity vs Avicii and Tiesto. Ive seen Avicii 3 times and Tiesto more than I can count in the States, Europe and Japan.I definitely can say I am burned out when it comes to Tiesto which is why I don't go to see him anymore.

You won't lose with Wet so you can check off another great pool party in Vegas. I was just throwing a different view into the conversation.

Sun 9/6 day: either Hardwell at Wet or Dash Berlin at MDC

Hardwell you will get Top 40 bangers with a generic playset.

Dash you will get an awesome melodic/unique set.

I would go Dash over Hardwell. I've seen Hardwell a lot in festival/club settings. Same stuff every time.

Thanks for the great advice. Yeah, sounds like Tiesto can be a bit generic, so I agree that Dash makes the most sense probably.

Fully agree with Kinar. Dash would be my pick. Plus another pool checked off the list.

You then have knowledge of all of them and could plan the next trip accordingly plus also come back on the forum and give us your experiences so others can take it into account.
