Best pool parties Wed or Thu August

Hi,

I am travelling from London with my sister to celebrate my birthday in Vegas and we really want to hit a pool party/day club that plays both Hip Hop and Dance music. I am getting lost looking at all the suggestions on the net so what would you recommend?

Do we need to buy tickets before we go or can we just turn up in the morning?

Wednesday during the day there aren't really any pool parties. At night there is Wet at Night.
Thursday your two best bets are Tao Beach and Liquid. Also, at night there is EBC at Night.
