Hey guys I am looking at EBC on saturday for fight weekend(Guetta) and wanted to get your input on location vs prices. I have been quoted below:

    Lower cabana 6k
    Upper Cabana 4k
    Beach Couch 2800
    Water Couch 5k

I am setting up for a group of about 10 guys all new to the vegas pool party scene and all pretty nervous about spending the kind of money I am telling them we are looking at...At the same time I know they are going to have the time of their lives. I was hoping to max out at 500 per person all in. What is our best bet here? Why is the beach couch half the price as the water couch? Any advice would be much appreciated!!

Just saw another thread talking about a couch at Andrea's? And a gaming pavillion couch? How do those fit in the mix for the quotes above?

If that's your budget then the beach couch is your only option. Daybed might be within budget too

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Andreas patio is the cheapest in EBC followed by gaming pavilion

I saw on another thread people saying the gaming couch or andreas patio were the best locations. Did I just read that wrong? Will the beach couch put us in the action? Never been to EBC so I really have no idea what I am talking about.

I don't think you read the post from other thread correctly....

What he was saying was he had a BEACH COUCH in FRONT of Andrea Patio (Not within the patio) and that it was a solid location due to foot traffic and bathroom/bar proximity.

Gaming Pavliion was also mentioned for it's VALUE and proximity to gambling/pool.

For 10 guys, you're looking at least $2800 min for Andrea's Patio, Gaming Pavilion, and Beach Couch.

Which is basically 4 bottles. I would say that's the minimum 10 thirsty guys will drink!

Yea I was planning the spend being closer to 4k with food and booze but i guess my real question is.....Can I get a beach couch and still be close to the action of the party? Are there beach couches with good locations.

                Thanks!

Have you done the 360 our on EBC's website?

                    http://www.encorebeachclub.com/360tour/

Start on the south side since that is where everyone enters and exits and then check out the north side.

Everyone's thoughts are different in regards to location. You are literally feet away from the action...the pools....when you get a beach couch. The main action is the center of EBC which is between the dj booth and the gaming pavilion IMO.

I prefer value vs location when it comes to pools. I normally just pre sale it but because it was mAyOD, it was only me and 1 other friend and not my usual group of 6-8 people and I had the opp to meet other JC peeps, we jumped in on the beach couch. Water couches and lily pads are beverage only while beach couches are food and beverage total. I am not a jump in the pool guy so the location that was set up in May for us fit my needs of great foot traffic and such as I said on the other discussion.

What it will come down to is what location will work best for you. 10 will not be able to sit on the couch, max will be 4 to 5 at a time comfortably. But since you want to be in the action it really won't affect your group to much. You'll usually have a few hanging and drinking while some walk around and such and then it flips.

!5-20 minutes before Guetta gets on claim your spot in the center area to see his performance. Where we were at was fine by me as I was able to see Zedd from there.

                    Hope this helps.

Water Couch is in the heart of the action, literally dead centre of the pool and comes with a daybed. they look awesome but food wont be included in your min as they are basically in the pool. I have been toying with the idea of water couch or cabana over LDW and I think they offer v different things. one is very much a private party experience, probably a bit more chilled and the other is an all out party

Zedd, Avicii, Kaskade and Guetta that weekend (Fri-Mon) will be outstanding but costly no matter which one you choose.

Just remembered his name but I always see this guy Jai Shaun (i think) on the front of the door with a clipboard who seems to have a fair amount of authority in seating location. Is he one of the main men and therefore a good guy to go with?
