Wantickets table?--good, bad, or ugly...

Has anyone ever booked a table through wantickets? I've noticed that some of the prices are better than quotes given by the hosts. Is it going to be the absolute worst table in (or outside) the house? A current example that I'm looking at right now is EBC at night this week. A host quote for a table for 4 guys looks to be $1100-$1400+. However wantickets has a table for 6 for around $850+. Is the wantickets table a f/b min or did you just pay for water, red bull, and real estate? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have to be careful to look at what the host is including in their price and what wantickets is. Wantickets specifically says "Bottle Service package includes 6 bottles of water & 6 Red Bull // Tax included in purchase price. Gratuity collected upon arrival // Table location assigned during check-in"

So $810 (1 bottle, 6 waters, 6 Red Bulls tax inclusive) + $68.50 (service charge) + $150 (20% gratuity) = $1028.50. Not a bad price, but a lot closer to the $1100 depending on what the host was including. I'd ask the host what exactly he was including in his quote.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to make sure that the $800 was a f/b minimum. I guess I can call them and find out for sure but I was hoping someone on the forum had firsthand experience.

The only concern is that the location will be based on what is available when you arrive vs negotiating with the direct host ahead of time.

The trade off though is at $1100 min you then have to add tax, auto grat and handshakes which will bring you to the $1400-$1500 all in.

So now it's about what is more important, location which = $$$ and a host or lower $$$ but meh location probably IMHO.
