So I am in the midst of planning our first vegas trip since 2012 and from looking at what's going on, it seems like the city has changed a lot. When my friends and I previously did a Vegas trip, Marquee day club was huge and now looking at our dates Aug 27th evening - Aug 30th daytime it seems like no good dj's are even playing there.

Anyways - Where are the places to be now? Are all the schedules in place for late Aug or am I too early? Which of these new clubs are best? We are looking for an EDM heavy mix and would like to see top 10 DJ's while we are there.

Also - Where is the value? Last time we were down we did the grand cabana at marquee day club which was awesome, but we can probably only fund a day and evening like that once while there. Looking for some value in the other nights possibly depending on costs.

Gonna be there those same dates. Schedules for Omnia/Hak/Wet and XS/Surrender/EBC are out, you're going to want to check out a few of those. From what I could find on Saturday 8/29 Vice is @ MDC and Dash Berlin @ Marquee Nightclub. For value, Drai's has deals on Thursday and you could hit Tryst on Friday.

Here's my schedule

8/27: Undecided (EBC @ Night, Drai's or Bar Hop)
8/28: XS/Zedd
8/29: Wet/Tiesto & Omnia/Dirty South
8/30: EBC/Kaskade & Nightswim/Arty

Pool Parties
MDC is still a good day club scene. It will be packed. I have been to MDC 8 days in the last 3 summers. But MDC has dropped behind Wet Republic and Encore Beach Club in popularity. Wet Republic and Encore Beach Club are huge and crazy. Based on all the people I talked to at MDC it seems most people do MDC as a third day in Vegas pool party. You could do MDC on Friday and then Wet Republic and EBC on the weekend. I am (likely) going the same weekend as you. Wet Republic has Tiesto on Saturday and Chuckie on Sunday. EBC has Zedd on Saturday and Kaskade on Sunday. I would spend your money on the weekend pool parties and go cheap at MDC on Friday (e.g., daybed which you can probably do all in for sub $1,500).

Nightclubs
XS, Omnia and Hakkasan are the big 3. Omnia has Krewella on Friday and Dirty South on Saturday. XS has Zedd on Friday and Kaskade on Saturday. Hakkasan has Tiesto on Friday and Dada Life on Saturday. Those places will all be very expensive to sit main room inside. If you are willing to sit outside, then your price will come down. As Plague noted, Drais and Tryst have bottle deals and would be great cheaper night options.

I am hoping to lock down some decent prices being that I think the weekend I am going is one of the "slower" of the summer. Any recommendation on some lower tier clubs for a night that have good bottle deals and such? Drais looks really cool and we would def lock in there for a Thursday or Friday if it was a good deal/price.

Drais appears to have a concert on Friday (Chromeo live). So I think you will want to do Drais on Thursday night.

Drai's Thursday night you should be able to do 2 bottles for $600. And as long as you don't get a table on the Mez (which may not even be open on a Thursday) you would have a solid location.
Tryst will do 2 bottles for $550 and that should apply to Thursday or Friday night
