Advice/Opinions needed

I would like to chime in with the idea that meeting other forum members and trying to line up splits when you are in town is a great idea to help keep costs down.

Sure, but OP's stated budget of $250pp won't even come close to covering a split at Calvin Harris that Saturday.

Thanks for all the advice folks. I like the idea of splits in theory, but has anyone ever had any issues with it? Basically, I generally trust people, but when there is a ton a alcohol involved, with people one doesn't really know, and a large bill to be paid who knows what can happen. Has anyone ever done it before?

At the moment, I am debating EBC on Fri 7/17 for Tommy Trash. My hope is that it won't be ridiculous for a beach couch. Waiting until after the EDC crowd goes through to follow up with a host. I don't think my group will be able to afford Wet or EBC on a Sat, but maybe with a split. Otherwise, we'll default to Sat at either Marquee Day Club or Drais. Both have DJs I like and seem to be fun spots from what I read.

Good idea about the chairs vs bed. I'll look into that as well.

Was able to get a few prices for a daybed or couch for three guys. Given the budget its going to come down to Fri 7/17 at Drai's or Marquee vs Sat 7/18 at Tao Beach or Daylight. I'm debating better club on a Fri with a smaller crowd against a lesser club on Sat with more of a crowd. Thoughts?

My thought is that you'll have a sick time no matter what. Personally I would do general admission Friday at Drai's or Marquee, and then get BS on Saturday at Tao Beach.

I prefer doing the bs at a dayclub vs nightclub. On this forum you will read people prefer the bs at the nightclub as well. FYI I had a better time at Tao Beach than Daylight..
