Hey folks,
I'm heading over from England on July 22nd to 27th for a birthday bash and they'll be 12 blokes in total. I've been asked to look into pool parties for one of the days (or nights) and I've been reading through the forums but there's so much info (useful I may add!) that I though I'd throw a few questions out there. I'm sure they've all been asked somewhere along the line but it's a total brain meltdown trying to take in all the info and remember it!
Like I say, maximum of 12 blokes and would like a lively party atmosphere but not necessarily somewhere that you cannot move for people around you. Music wise, pretty much anything goes except rock or hardcore trance.
Would potentially be interested in a cabana, table, seats etc if the pricing fits in as I'd imagine that would save a lot of hassle.
Don't really have a budget as such as it's not easy to get sensible answers from 12 different people but I'd hazard a guess at a couple/few hundred dollars each.
In terms of host etiquette, would it be acceptable for me to contact a host, ask them what can be offered and if it's no good politely say no but thanks? Sounds daft I know but don't want to offend someone who I may want to contact later down the line. A lot of post I've read seem to suggest that a bigger tip for the host could mean slightly cheaper entry etc. Is this correct?
Would I then pay in advance to the host (not easy when you are relying on getting money of others if the cost is $2000/3000 upwards or to the venue upon entry?
I know this has probably all been asked before but I appreciate any advice
Thanks
Arry.
