  • Pool recs for bachelor party group - May 29 & 30?

Group of 8, all late 20's. Looking for any recs on hot spot pools that have decent priced cabana or similar packages. I've done Marquee Dayclub and cabana there before but none of the other big name places.

Any cool events going on then or days with DJs that are must attended days? I don't know the difference in most of the DJs listed on the calendars.

Any input on the "Hot 100" day party at Wet Republic on Fridays? Thinking about potentially hitting that up for Friday the 29th and getting a cabana simply because it's our first full day.

Any info or thoughts will be great.

Thanks. Trying to get in touch with a host for EBC to see about Saturday 5/30.

Is getting a table or cabana a must for a group of guys our size?

Not a necessity. Presale is fine. Depends on if you want to spend the money for some real estate at the venue.

For 8 I was quoted $2100 for a lily pad for that day. That is for alcohol only as they are in the water so no food is allowed and add 33.1% on top for tax, autograt and I am assuming LET. So $2795 all in w/o a handshake included.

No LET at EBC unless it's Major Lazer. Just 8.1% tax and 20% gratuities.

They said add 33.1% on top of the price so my assumption was LET so it's some other service charge prob.

That's weird, I've never seen any other kind of charge for EBC. LET would be 10% so it's not that....Did you get a quote through a direct host?

EBC and Surrender have a 5% service fee on top now

                    That's annoying
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

The quote was from John Droubi at EBC who was referred to me from Bobby Y.

Just curious, do these service fees go towards the host team?

Drais has a 4% fee also, not sure what it is for, but no LET, which I expected so came out ahead which is fine by me.
