  • Dayclub mins- Urgent

Going this weekend so need your help! If doing mins for dayclub without a credit card (as to not go over budget) how does that work, will pay all cash at the end- especially when NOT ordering actual bottles but rather pitchers/beers/food throughout the day. Much thanks

Lookup the menu online and plan with your group exactly what you want and exactly how much of it you can get. If there is no plan in place, it's very easy to go over budget.

Calculate the cost of everything you chose on said menu + tax + tip & collect cash from your group beforehand.

Pick one person and tell the the waitress they are the only one authorized to buy anything at your table.

You could also do all these steps with a credit card. Cash doesn't make things easier, planning does.

Plague is right planning ahead is they key. If you want to pay cash, they will still hold you CC on file until you close out and you can pay however you like cash or CC at that time or you can even charge it to your room if you're staying at the club property or an affiliate.

That is correct. You can also settle up in the beginning when you get there if you do not want to use a credit card at all. Just tell your waitress to close out the bill at your minimum when you get there and pay in cash.

+1, this is the easiest way to make sure you cover the min without issues when you leave.

I'd really recommend collecting cash up front, paying with the cash or cc, and then closing the bill immediately. Have only one person able to order, unless they are paying separately.

How does one close the bill at dayclubs assuming one doesn't order bottles- a pitcher here and there, beers, burgers over the course of the day so the final bill won't be realized until the end....

They have your credit card and put a hold on it until you're ready to close out the bill. You can then now choose either to close the tab with cash or the credit card they have.

You will have a minimum for your table/daybed/cabana that you have to spend no matter what, so you can pay that up front. Then you can just order as you go along and your waitress will normally be really good about letting you know how much you have left when you get close to what you paid. If in the end you spend more then your minimum then you will have to give her a credit card or cash for the leftover balance.
