Best spot in MGM pool complex

I've never been to MGM(staying there this weekend), and I'm wondering what the best spot is in the MGM pool complex.
Does music play through speakers like most non day club pools?
Is there an area that has cocktail servers(assuming that areas near the pool bars might)?
Looking for a more lively spot,but more chill than a dayclub.
Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

You definitely want to be next to or in the lazy river.

If you get a cabana, 6-8 and 9-14 are the best. 3-5 are ok. 1-2 are too far off the lazy river.

If you want a chair only, get there very early and get a chair along the lazy river near those cabanas.
