Friday Pool Party

Hey All, Trip planned for end of July starting to think about options for the Friday we are there. We are a group of 8 guys for a bachelor party. We definitely plan on going to Wet on Saturday and probably doing a cabana/table. I am looking for advice on place to go for Friday pool party. I was thinking Ditch GA for more of a laid back party and less EDM. Any suggestions on a fun party for a Friday that plays Hip Hop/Top 40.

Liquid is always a good scene for Fridays that tends to play top 40/hip hop!

Yea. I thought the party and ratio at Liquid was pretty solid last time I went on a Friday and open format music. I've done ditch wet on Fridays before and Liquid actually seemed a little more busy and some solid girls around. hit up Kaz for info. He is still over there

Have done Liquid twice on a Friday and it's pretty good. Have not been to Tao beach in a while... How would compare Tao and Liquid on a Friday afternoon ? Looking to do a daybed.

I had the exact same topic in mind, so I'll just add to the bottom here:

Looking for the best pool party next Friday 4/17. Just want to do presale/general admission, no beds. Not too into the EDM stuff, but would go there if it had the best atmosphere. Are places without an event even open?

Looks like my options are:

Marquee - Mike Attack - $20
EBC - Yellow Claw - $47
Liquid - Ladies of Liquid (doesn't look like any presale prices)
Wet - doesn't seem to have event
Tao Beach - no event listed

I really think this forum needs a banner at the top that just says "Are you going to a pool party Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? You should probably be going to EBC!" I've been to all of those venues and none of them are as good as EBC.

If you were looking for variety because you already are going to EBC on Saturday or Sunday, then maybe consider those other options, but pretty much if the question is EBC vs anything else, the answer is going to be "EBC if you can afford it."

Drai's Beach Club is another option, they are having a SKAM Take Over, with 5 different DJs from the label SKAM. $31.50 for guys, but again that's just $15.50 less than EBC, so I'd probably still just do EBC.

I think all pool parties are only so so on Fridays. By mid to late afternoon people start streaming in.

On Saturdays I would not drop MDC and Wet from the conversation so quickly. EBC is great (huge, packed, usually great DJ). But MDC and Wet are slammed on Saturdays and typically have great DJs (Wet's DJ lineup is nuts).

We are already planning to do a daybed at EBC on a Saturday. So we're looking for a less expensive (tier 2) pool on Friday since we can't afford EBC every day. We've done Liquid for 500$ min for the last 2 years. Wondering if I should go back to Liquid, try Tao Beach or maybe Foxtail pool if prices are the same. So far, I have not seen much good reviews on Foxtail pool.

I've always had a good time at Liquid on Fridays..I haven't been to Tao Beach in awhile. Not sure how that pool is on Fri.
