Hey guys was gonna head to a pool party this weekend, been to several. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if you can get a better deal for tables/cabanas that are still not booked for that day? I usually get a daybed and often see unused bigger beds/cabanas etc. Was wondering if I'd be able to just upgrade at a much lower cost, figured the casino would be willing to negotiate since they'd be losing money anyways for that unoccupied spot.
What happens to unused tables/daybeds?

Yep, they sometimes offer negotiated pricing if you inquire about a daybed that's clearly not pre-sold. At a tier 2 pool like Tao Beach a daybed can go as low as $100-200 if it clearly isn't going to be sold. Not every club does this, and it's not necessarily going to be drastically less than had you just pre-reserved it, but if a place is looking on the slower side, it's definitely an option.
