Not the first time in Vegas for myself and my girlfriend, but the first time going to EDC and going during a big weekend. My question for everyone is what their opinions are on a couple of options for tickets:
1) Friends who have gone in the past advise that we buy our tickets as soon as they come out, as they start at $20/$30 and can get up to $100-$125 by the day of. Is there still a gueslistt line for events on these big weekends? How long of a wait in line are we looking at? Would it be appropriate to contact a host just to open the ropes and then go to the cashier with the tickets?
2) The alternative that I'd be use to is tipping a host for a full walk-in. What would be an appropriate tip considering the ticket prices will be so high?
3) Am I correct to assume that my girlfriend won't get in for free to the big headliner pool parties?
