Pool Party Soft Openings

Looking to my trip 3/27-29 I'd like to hit a pool party, preferably Sat 3/28. Consensus on forums is that this time (late March) is more of a soft opening for pool parties and they really don't pick up with DJs until April. Main concern is that it won't be busy or worth it when I go. I figure with Spring break, March madness (2nd weekend), etc. there could be a good event. Curious if anyone has any experience with attending pool parties in March.
1. Which pool?
2. How were prices?
3. Any notable DJs?
4. Other feedback (crazy, fun, ratio, BS worth it, etc.)

Also if anyone else is interested in that day I'm open to split BS.

Def will be soft openings at most places by them...and I am sure there will be some good parties because you have March Madness and spring break

Ah for sure that makes sense. didn't realize that overlapped. I'll scope out calendar as it gets closer. Would still be interested in others experience with soft opens. Might be better off planning something else for the day.

We were at EBC on the weekend of March 15th, 2014. Weather was great. I believe the pool is heated anyway (i think). AN21 was spinning. It got pretty busy, spring breakers and bachelor/bachelorette parties everywhere. We were singing and dancing as we left the place.... always a sign of a good time.

If you forget sunscreen, use the sunscreen in the bathroom (next to colognes and stuff). Tip the guy - its cheaper than buying a $20+ bottle of sunscreen.

Good to know. Thanks! Still debating on it. May want to keep an eye on the games that day too but will only be in vegas for the weekend so want to make the most of it!

If it's spring break everyone will be open. The 'grand opening' parties are in April, but most of the pools are open by then to break in the new staff.

It's more related to the weather in terms of how crazy it will be. If it's 80s plus, they will be good, I'm speaking mainly on Saturdays.

Wet and Encore released pool lineup for their opening month over a couple weeks ago and still waiting on MDC once again this year.
I wish I would have booked MGM or Wynn instead of Cosmo(I like to at least on the Saturday attend the pool party at the hotel I am staying at) They did the same thing last year and I said to myself I ain't going to book in early Jan for first weekend April and deal with waiting till practically march for lineups and once again I duped myself to think MDC would want to keep par with the other top venues.
