Hi All

I know it is early for this. Been to vegas the last 3 years on either MDW or LDW when it has been packed. I was wondering what it is like in April or May for non holiday weekends? I assume tables and pool parties are a little cheaper. But is it still a good time busy wise.

Traveling from Ireland for a Bachelor party with approx 12 guys.

I believe so. I think once April hits Vegas soars with tourism. I for one will only go on non holidays now. I hate how crowded it has gotten and the amt of people who bring kids on holidays is getting weirder too lol....Me and my husband saw lots of kids there this past MDW and we both agreed our baby will not step foot in Sin City until he is 21... Hopefully we will still be cool and can join him lol

On a scale of 1-10 price wise (with 1 being thanks giving and 10 being new years), prices will probably be around 6-8's from April to October.

Pools will be open and the city will be bustling. It won't be like a holiday weekend but it also won't be like winter or downtime. April is convention month so everything will be slammed. Pump up your wallets but that's what Vegas is about. You're traveling a long ways so be as prepared as possible.

All the big names parties will be active for sure.

Yes it will be cheaper as long as the dj is not a big name. Calvin Harris, Tiesto and the likes causes the prices to skyrocket.

Personally I would go in May than April just for the slightly warmer weather.

I always go MDW AND LDW but this year we have a holiday in brazil so ill take it...

Been to Vegas every year with groups of either all girls or all guys. While I've done Vegas on LDW and MDW, we are all well aware how insanely more expensive tables/pool parties are. This is why we now pick a weekend in the beginning of April and it has ALWAYS been crazy awesome and definitely lighter on our pockets.

April is the beginning of pool season and while Vegas is always "busy" it's definitely cheaper on a non-holiday weekend. If you've only been to Vegas on LDW/MDW weekends, you'll be amazed how much further your money will go with a group that large.

Pricing on tables/pool parties also depends if you're into big name DJs or not. Guetta and Calvin Harris for example, always fill up a venue like sardines and you will pay a higher premium but not like LDW/MDW. You can easily get B1G1 deals at smaller venues like Bank or Drais. All venues will be busy no matter which weekend you pick in April and May.

Planning a massive 20+ bachelorette party for the 2nd weekend in April so you know that weekend is already guaranteed to be crazy! LOL

I wonder what minimums for a party of 6 will be like at EBC. We are going 3rd weekend of April... It's my absolute favorite pool party!! I guess it would depend I if a big DJ is there. But one time me and my friends got a free cabana at EBC and it was LDW... Lucky day I guess.

For six I reckon EBC would be around $1000. If you're girls I have no doubt you'd get a one bottle minimum.

I've been offered one bottle mins on the day, its luck of the draw but youll have no issue at all.

Yea I'm hoping for a $500 minimum bc I would prefer pitchers and some grub over a bottle during the day, plus we all drink different stuff... us TN girls like whiskey but then some like vodka and tequila too...

Yeah you'll be fine, even if you just line up on the day it'll be cool. Every time ive been EBC im offered cabanas/minimum spots as long as youre there at a decent time. The only time when its been close to missing out was Labor Day in 2012.

We should talk. . . We will be in Vegas for a bachelor party at the same time - April 9-12. We are at the very early stages of roll call and it looks like we will have around 12 guys mostly from North Texas but some from the NE and possibly West Coast. Good to know that pool parties will be up and running by then - I love EBC and Drais Beach Club might we worth a look.

While I am not the Best Man I am the resident Vegas nightlife expert so I imagine I will be the one responsible for execution.

I always avoid holidays in vegas now after going on holiday weekends & non in the past. Youll have just as good of time, its busy enough and your money will go a lot farther.
