Non-pool season - what to do?

I haven't been to Vegas in awhile outside of pool season, so I kind of forgot what I used to do during the day.

What do you usually do Mon-Fri? I have GBDC on deck for Saturday, but need suggestions for the weekdays. Alcohol is a necessity.

Carnaval Court at Harrah's will have those flair bartenders and probably a band starting around 11 AM. It's not the swankiest place out there, and probably won't have Diplo or Tiesto (I could be wrong), but you can drink, party it up, or just watch other people do it at your own pace during the day. I also like Rhumbar at the Mirage, although it's a lot more of a lounge during the day. I have gotten crazy there, meeting the right people, drinking enough where it might as well be 1 AM on a Saturday night.

I feel you though... I've grown accustomed to day drinking now. Sure, I'll go to the bars and clubs at night but it only feels like vacation when it's 1 PM on a Wednesday and I am doing another round of shots, with people who also have jobs and everything....

That's the best feeling about Vegas. Total vacation mode as soon as I get into JFK airport.

Yea me and my husband enjoyed Carnaval the people watching and bad dancing we did was fun. We went mdw and didn't wanna deal with another crowded ass pool party. If Rhumbar is that outdoor bar at mirage with the hookah thing yes. Cool spot!
