How strict is dress code for Marquee Dayclub?

Hey guys. I was about to get tix for Sep 20th to see Chuckie and there is a note about dress code…typical…says pool attire but also mentions no tanks? I found that odd as I pretty much see them at any day club? Would 2 guys have a problem getting in with tank tops? Thanks for your help.

I was there on a Friday back in July and I'm pretty sure I saw a guy go in with a Knicks jersey, and a couple of guys with goofy hats (like cat in the hat style). I would say as long as it it stylish, and you aren't jerks you should be good. I am a rookie at this game though.

I think they put that on the website in an attempt to prevent people from showing up in wife beaters and basketball jerseys... Plenty of people wear regular tanks there though

They're pretty strict. They definitely won't let you in with wife beaters/ribbed tanks or basketball jerseys. I had trouble getting in wearing a plain grey tank top, and they didn't let my buddy in wearing a plain white v-neck. They told us that if it looks like it came in a 3 pack, we don't allow it.

They are pretty harsh on bachelors - wouldn't let me in dressed up as tinkerbell.... So I changed into something more 'appropriate' until security came up to our bed and told me that the didn't allow speedos at the pool... Needless to saw I had to change into some board shorts.

So stay away from those 2 things and wife beaters and you should be fine :-)

The door guy said to me once and I quote 'what kind of bathing suit is that' when he couldn't find the designer label on my swimming shorts lol !

Made me feel that I was lucky to be allowed into the premises as a paying customer

My advice would be to ensure your dripping in designer gear to ensure entry !!!

No basketball shorts or jean shorts. If you wear khaki shorts, you must have swimming trunks under them. No wife beaters but you can wear brand tank tops or sleeveless shirts that you wear to the beach.

Thanks Zury…I shave my head and usually wear a baseball cap…would that be ok? Funny I never had to worry about this stuff going to any other pool party lol ...
