How to handle personal items at Vegas pool party

My apologies if there is already a thread on this topic (I imagine there was I just couldn't find it), but I will be checking out some pool parties during my upcoming trip in August. Most likely I will be trying to go to EBC on Sunday and Liquid on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice on what to do with my cell phone (probably won't bring it), credit card, ID, etc. in order to keep it safe from theft or damage? I'd like to go in the pool to get the whole experience, but I don't want my stuff getting all jacked up. Thanks!

If you plan on getting in the pool take as little as possible

Most pools will have lockers to keep your items safe. I think the ones at EBC are around $30.

Locker at some, Liquid has a free security check room. If you have a cabana, they have safes.

Anybody know which pools have lockers specifically? That is something that is a definite + for our trip.

WET has lockers ($40). Daybeds at ECB have safes ($free). I'm told MDC has lockers ($don't know).

would try to just bring id/credit card
hopefully your pair of shorts has a pocket that will zipper shut

Remember the pool is like 5 foot deep and there are a lot of people around so its not like your going to be doing laps in the pool.

Buy a waterproof cellphone protector on amazon for like $10. Most are big enough to hold ID/credit card.

last time i went i only brought ID, CC, and some cash and kept it in a plastic bag that worked great for a while, it eventually got wet but who cares

Cash can get wet and it generally won't tear.

I used to try to bring my phone with me and it just becomes too much of a headache worrying about it. Now I generally just take my ID, couple credit cards, and room key.

Last year i bought something similar to this on amazon 713L3AndSXL._SL1500_.jpg

It worked fine but it was too bulky and it was a hassle taking it out and opening it every time I needed cash
