Ditch friday at the Palms

Coming to vegas august 22nd till the 25th, flying in early friday morning and planning to check in bags at hotel and go straight to the palms for ditch friday. Has anyone gone lately, if so how is it? Is there a better option for a friday? Group of 13 coming in for a bachelor party and we done mind edm but like to jam hip-hop top 40's. Thanks for input.

Ive not heard of much this year, apparently its very changeable - popular with locals from what I hear but can verge from being good to being a total sausage fest.

Guess it just varies week by week. Only one way to find out. If youre at the palms then id check it, otherwise id be going EBC, Liquid or Tao Beach.

I was there in May for the first Ditch Friday, and it was a good time, perhaps because it was the first one of the year, but it was a good crowd decent ratio and the music is exactly what it's always been a mix of Hip Hop and Top 40. I know that if your doing a bachelor party the rates for cabana's will be more reasonable at Ditch than most other spots. Nothing wrong with checking it out.
