Where to go / What to do. 5 guys from London

Hey Everyone.

I'm part of a 5 guy group coming over to Vegas from London. Tuesday Aug 26th to Sunday Aug 31st. We're in early enough on the Tuesday to go out Tuesday night. We're staying in the Encore. It's not a stag party / bachelor party. We're all mid 30's wanting a great experience.

Any suggestions for what club to visit and on what night would be greatly appreciated. Also want to know what the deal is with table service and if this is the only way 5 guys can get in anywhere. Also any suggestions on what pool parties / day parties that we should really go to would again be great. I think a day in the old town would be good so any suggestions for the bars there.

Sounds like you might be new to vegas so first off
1. check all the nightclub/ pool party lineups and compare go with what you like
you can search the club websites or search them all on http://wantickets.com/events/

nightclubs open around 11pm with headline dj on at 1am going till like 5am
pool parties open around 11am with headline dj on at 3pm going till like 6pm

You will be fine getting in with presale tickets
if you want to do tables learn about bottle prices, table locations, tax/tip which is anywhere from 28% to 40% on top.
4. Realize the weekend your going is labor day weekend Friday/Saturday/Sunday so crowds will be bigger. But its a great weekend to go.
5. For Tuesday/Wens/Thursday nights you will probably be able to get free entry thru a host or vipforfree on these forums. Don't just show up because general admission lines are long you have to plan it out with presale tickets or a host.

XS at Encore (nightclub)
Encore Beach club at Encore (pool party)
are both really nice, top in vegas and since your staying there easiest to visit.
The other clubs at other hotels are really close by but cabs in vegas are really expensive/cab lines are long/ it might not be worth the hassle.

Something to get you thinking about:
Tuesday night: Drais night pool party (free entry)
Wednesday night: Light (free entry)
Thursday night: Encore beach night pool party with Zedd / Hakkasan / Drais (free entry)
Friday day: Encore beach (maybe free entry)
Friday night: XS Skrillex
Saturday day: Encore beach Steve Angello
Saturday night: XS David Guetta

Sounds like your leaving Sunday so probably can't hit anything Sunday.

Thanks for that great info artedm. Can you tell me a bit more about VIP for Free? If that covers of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday that sounds like that might be the way to go.

english_gent - not sure about budget really. I mean if table service makes the difference between a good time and a great time then I think between the 5 of us we'd try and do that. What on average would table service cost between the 5 of us?

In terms of tables roughly budget
1 bottle per four
then depends on bottle prices, location, taxes, tip
say $600 + 20% tip 8% tax= $768

You might get quoted $1500 min which would mean $1500+ 28%= $1920

For your days Tues- Thurs, check the forums for the Industry Day info. These will be the places you will need to hit. Fri thru Sun everything is pretty much open so it's a matter of taste/preference/budget/table/ GA those days.
Tues- no pools, night drais night swim party/1Oak/Hyde
Wed- no real pool party, clubs Light/Surrender/Chateau
Thurs - Liquid & Tao Beach Industry Days, night EBC at night, Hakk/Haze/ Tao/ Tryst

This is a quick list of all that is pretty much open. If you want tables, you should be able to score deals vs on the weekend.
