  • EBC admittance - Encore hotel guest versus non-hotel guest

    Hello all,

(Sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find anything on it.)

On the EBC site there is an option to purchase tickets. There is also this message - "Guests staying at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore can book event tickets through Wynn Concierge to receive preferred entry. " If one is staying at the Wynn or Encore, do they get free or discounted admittance, or do they have to pay full price? I'm just trying to see if there is any advantage to booking at Wynn or Encore, versus booking a cheaper hotel, if I want to get into the EBC.

    Thanks

    NO free or discounted entry

You will be fine if you buy presale tickets and stay at another hotel

Yeah no preference at the Wynn, thats where I stay and there's no help there.

What they probably mean is, if you use the concierge he will hook you up with a host who can "assist" you with a walk in for a handshake.

        Thanks guys.

From the message on the Wynn site, it seems that the front of line pass is available for $5 for all hotel guests, so that's at least one perk (not sure how long the lines are, nor how difficult it is to get in).

I'm still reading through the forum here, but to me the dilemma is that if I am only there with a small group (say 3 or 4 people), dividing a daybed for around $800 to $1,000 seems quite expensive for a pool party, which may or may not be fun. I've checked a couple of vids of EBC on Youtube, and it doesn't really seem the atmosphere that a few others have told me it was; in other words, it seems the same atmosphere I see on a college campus, where girls walk around looking nice, but aren't really interested in being approached, and likewise guys don't pay them hardly any interest. The result is that this generation (I'm around the 40 mark, back finishing a degree) seem to all stand around/hang around, but not much socializing. That equals a pretty dull time.

I'm not expecting the world, but I certainly don't want to pay the range of $300 just to hangout at a pool for a few hours, if there really isn't much action. I had several people tell me that at these pool parties, girls let loose and get wild, and there is lots of freak-dancing, flirting and mixing going on, to the point where it's quite wild. That description is how I remember college campuses - fun. I'm not getting that from the videos I've seen.

My girlfriend and I have heard great things about EBC. Is it open Sundays? If so, is there a contact to get on a guest list?

If you mean are there people fucking in the pool - no there's not.

But if you wanna hook up then most definately yes. The last 3 occasions ive been EBC ive met girls in the pool, spent the afternoon with them, a bit more, then met at the club that night. You know what happens...
One of them was a showgirl from Jubilee at Ballys and introduced me to Mike Tyson when we were eating a mexican joint in Town Square just off strip.

So the moral of the story is go. Go Go Go and never look back!

And yes its open Sunday. Best day I reckon.
