Wet Republic info

Hey guys,

First time poster here, heard good things about this forum, i'm hoping to get some help. I was wondering what prices i'm looking at for wet republic on a Thursday or Friday. It's a bachelor party, 7 guys coming on Aug. 27-31. We were thinking of going to wet republic (unless anyone suggest better places for a party) and getting a table or cabana or whichever option is better for location and comfort on the grounds. We don't have a set budget, but mind you we're not high rollers.

Any information would be appreciated, we just want to have fun without mortgaging off our houses.

Realize its Labor day weekend so on Friday Wet and the other pools should announce a bigger name dj- wait and see who gets announced.
For pools parties Saturday and Sunday are the big crowd days. Thursday (especially) and Friday will be slower

Generally its one bottle per four people and then more money for better location / more space example- cabanas
Two bottles could run you over $1500 depending on bottle prices for example $600x2=$1200+28% tax tip = $1536

You might think of just doing presale tickets and getting in the pool that is the cheapest way

When you say slower, it's still a good time on Thursday and Fridays just not as many people and no big name dj?

Now for exact pricing, should I contact the day clubs directly or can I get in touch with promoters that can get me better prices?

This was posted 2 or 3 months ago by a member who had his bach party out there. Event = big name dj, possible holiday weekend. Remember supply and demand dictate prices. This gives you a good idea.

Thanks for that information. Is the lounge area any good? With the stage, dance floor and dance deck being the same price on the Friday, which is a better spot?

You wont get anywhere in Wet on Labor Day for less than $3k on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I stayed at MGM 2 years ago before the Hakkasan link up and it was SLAMMED. We went Thursday Saturday & Monday cos it was so easy just to go downstairs and get in. Now I hear stories of the queue snaking through the entire pool area for Wet Republic. With Aoki and Nervo it'll be ridiculously busy.

Thursday was good when I was there for LDW, but no way packed, same Monday. It was actually great cos it wasnt so frenetic.

I personally wouldnt go. I think they charge silly prices for what is a very average pool. Its basically a rectangle with one bar and usually filled with douches splashing water in your drinks non stop, all day. They take the piss at that place. You can get a far better day at a far better pool party for alot less money at MDC or EBC.

Wet Hot 100.... Compared to EBC.

Well it depends really. If you're female I imagine Hot 100 is good, because its a bikini contest that attracts absurd numbers of guys.

EBC without a question. Its better than Wet Republic on any days its open, especially Fridays for hot 100!
