  • Any Cabana on Saturday - 6/28 - as long as it has a TV

So I have an interesting request.

Going to vegas with cheap friends. Very cheap.

They want a cabana with a TV somewhere on Saturday. My proposed 500$ F&B minimum cabana is too much $ for them, so I'm assuming i need either a flat rental fee or much lower F&B minimum to meet their goals.

So, any ideas where else to go? Doesn't have to be a pool party (price consciousness never works for that), but just somewhere I can reserve it ideally.

    Staying at the Mirage.

So, tell me how impossible this is, so i can be done with it and let them know to open their wallets or give up.

        Thanks,
That's pretty much exactly what I had been telling my friends in terms of pricing.

Are these rental fees? or F&B minimums?

We have 7 people (3 couples + 1 female friend) which makes their complaints pricing even more hard to understand - it's not that much per person.

7 people? after tax/grat you are looking at like $100/person. For an entire day's worth of fun. In Las Vegas.

I am sorry you have cheap friends! Hopefully you can convince them otherwise! I am serious when I say best of luck and I hope you can talk them into it

You better hop on that $500 min cabana quick. Most of the hotel pool cabanas sell out on Saturdays and most have rental fees in the 300-500 range. So why wouldn't you do a 500 min vs wasting money on a rental fee. If they're that cheap go to a bar, sports book, something.. It's hard to get a cabana w a TV at a decent hotel for $500 min or less. Start with Mirage and TI though.

$600 f/b min, $800 on holidays, iirc. $400 on weekdays, I think. (No idea if that rate is specific to hotel guests.)

Why would you want a TV in the first place. I can think of much better scenery to be looking at by the pool

I think spray is always good. But liquid they have issues with. Could be wrong too as I stopped bringing it in and just get burnt on purpose now : )

I can't speak to the other stuff, but I've never had an issue with bringing sunscreen into Tao Beach or any other dayclub.

good to know. I haven't been to lv in a minute and seems like things have gotten more tight in terms of what you can bring in.

                        btw, anyone...
