MGM Pool Question

Booked a trip to MGM sept 4th-8th. I read a few reviews on yelp that mentioned they were able to bring in outside drinks. Does anyone know if your able to just walk in with them or do you need to sneak them in a backpack or something? Thanks for the input.

You're able to walk in with outside drinks to the MGM common pool facility, not wet republic.

I brought 3-4 beers to the pool, two in pockets and two in hand. Also I have brought a plastic cup and straw with alcohol in it. No glass allowed, so pick up plastic or aluminum bottles and you should be fine. However, keeping the drinks cold is another story.
