  • Day Club & Nightclub All in one day??

    Hi All,

I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on getting Table Service for Day Club i.e Cabana etc and then again in the evening getting a table in a night club? Is this to much to do in 1 day?

    Group of 10 lads.

Alternatively is it better to just hit some bars in the evening? How long do these pool parties last for?

    Any advise would be great!!

    Thanks All

Its totally cool, whether its too much is up to you.

I personally think that spending thousands in day clubs is a bit of a waste if you are on a budget. If i remember right youre planning to do a day at MDC for a $7k minimum. That's a huge amount of alcohol to get through. Pool parties slow down at 5 and are usually totally done by 630 - 7pm.

Now if youve consumed close to a litre of vodka by that point youre gonna be out of it and if you sleep thats that - you wont make the night. If you do make the night you'll be so wasted by 12-1am youll not know whats going on!

I dunno - ive done both cabanas and clubs in a day. Its definately worth getting a cabana if you want one, but dont spend silly money.

Its far more important to have a table at a nightclub than a daybed/cabana at a pool party. So if youre budgeting now think of that. At pools its still great fun going general admission or GA. I have a better time at pools doing that than when I have a cabana simply cos you mingle more and meet more people

So we have done both in one day. I used to be for only tables at nightclubs and not at the dayclubs. But having a cabana / daybed is great if you have had a rough night the previous night. It's a good place to relax, and have girls in bikinis party with you. Also you are at a dayclub a lot longer than you are at a nightclub. So timewise its worth it (and you can order food).

However getting tables at nightclubs depends on the clubs. Some clubs are designed better for people with tables (ex. Hakkasan). Other's have more space like XS and Surrender. Of course getting a table is better than not. But some places it's not as critical.
Whether it's critical, depends on you and your group, if you are social people, tables are not worth it as much. But if you are less social, tables can attract girls and even guys helping you with your table can bring girls.

Oh also Pool parties typical die down around 5 - 6pm. You should nap in between day vs nightclub.

I've done both, and like Tomm0 said "it's up to you" weather it's too much.

I prefer to do something like this:

Smaller Pool, i.e. Monte Carlo, MGM main pool, etc. with a cabana with about a $500-$1000 F&B min (6-10 in the group). Then do a big nightclub that night.

        OR

Do a day-club, i.e. EBC, MDC, Tao Beach... Then do more of the chill bar hopping/lounge thing in the evening/night.

It spaces things out without breaking the bank all in one day.

        Cheers!

Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

A good friend would bail you out of jail, but your best friend would be the one sitting next to you saying, "damn that was awesome".

I live for the nights I can't remember with the people I'll never forget.

I plan on doing both in one day during my next trip to Vegas.
          15 -Vegas July 9 - 13
          14--Vegas July 10-14
          13--Vegas July 12-15.

It definitely can be done although I would advise not to expect that all 10 of you will manage it, depending on the attitude of your group this could potentially lead to disagreements with the sharing the cost of the table at the club. I would advise that you get the money for the night sorted so that if anyone doesn't make it they share the cost anyway, this means your budgeted amount for the night remains the same and also gives an added incentive for everyone to man up and keep going.

That being said don't expect to manage a pool party and nightclub every single day Thurs - Sun, your body at some point will be screaming for a break!
An 8,000 mile journey is always worth it when it ends in Vegas!

Thanks for the replies guys! I think we will stick to a big pool party and then in the evening do some bar hopping!! Like you said there may be some man downs by then, so not everyone will be up for a club!

I have done it before too and it is possible, but I also agree that spacing it out might be better as well.

I am actually a little concerned as next weekend I am doing both in one day with a group of total Vegas party newbies because we only have that one full day for our bachelor party and they really wanted to do both. I told them to get to bed early the day before and I will collect all the money beforehand, so I'll see how that works out.

I do pools and clubs each day/night 5 nights in a row when I go vegas. But be sure that one of those nights is a write off. It usually ends up being Saturday that goes by the wayside for some reason.

2 years ago i paid $700 for my share of a table at XS on a Saturday during LDW and left after an hour after drinking one bottle of water as I was so hungover I quite literally couldnt keep down a single spoonful of alcohol.

Agreed, if you are used to it, seems like 5 nights is the cutoff if your going hard. I was good, haring to pools and clubs/bars each night with a few hours of sleep. After the 5th night I took a "nap" at around 7pm and didn't wake up until 8am the next morning. Definitely keep this in mind p, I don't care WHO you are it will catch up to you one night.

Still need to work up to the big boys, 4 nights is most I can handle.

I'd prob go with the table at the nightclub over pool party. seems like there is more room at the pool parties vs nightclub so its nice having a place to sit down at night. plus the girls are more receptive during the day so you can walk around more and chat with people without getting blown off as quickly.

yea i would rather have a table at night and do GA to a pool party. Way easier to talk to girls at pool parties.

I have done two in a day on back to back days once, Friday - Saturday. My experience was that we went very, very hard Saturday during the day, this lead to us passing out (many blacked out and can't remember getting back to the hotel) and missing our dinner reservations, pass out at 6:00 wake up at 10:30. The great part of this instance was that we rallied, got into dinner at the same restaurant at 11:30, hit the clubs at 1:30 (actually refreshed), stayed out all night and went directly to airport for 9:00 flight and passed out on flight. By far my best day in vegas.

I agree with the sentiment regarding the lack of need for a cabana/daybed at a pool party. I have never go one so I am not saying I know what I am talking about but I think it may be a good idea if the minimum is right because you would not have to pay to get in, if you eat lunch there that cuts into the minimum and I found that we drank significantly more during the day meaning the minimum is easier to hit. With that said I feel the only advantages to having a daybed/cabana is that you get right in without cover and you have a place to put your stuff, I have a feeling you would never use it.
