Pool Parties in October

Hi,

We arrive in Vegas from Scotland on 1st October and leave on the 6th. Does anyone know if there will still be pool parties at that time of year?

Based on some threads back in this section late Sept of last year looks like they were open until Columbus Day Weekend which is a week after you leave to go back to Scotland.

Weather can be tricky at times in Oct. but honestly it won't be jumping like it is now through mid September.

That was our last weekend last year so you might be there for "Drink Liquid & Bare Dry" closing parties. Tao Beach stayed open in Oct last year. Think EBC or another pool stayed open thru the 2nd week. Basically, something will be open and probably some closing parties.

I was at the Wet closing party last October with Calvin Harris and it was a great time. Lots of fun and a good crowd. Here's a picture to give you an idea of how busy it was. This was October 13th I think around 2pm.

So i dont give up my pool party aspirations given I will be travelling early October then )

Great, thank you to everyone for the helpful replies. Sounds like we will still manage to get along to a pool party or two and if it happens to be the closing party that would be even better.

Really depends on weather and DJ. I've been mid-October a few years ago and it was dead. No big name DJ though.

Insanely packed. We give away the bar to all of our Industry friends. I mean we literally dumped bottles in buckets, filled with mixers, put straws in it shoved it down your throat. Go on Liquid's facebook page and pull up album from Drink Liquid Dry. Costumes, blow up toys, it's insane. People fuk'd w me so bad I had to sneak out, got thrown in pool prob 2 -3 times... it's crazy, Bare's is also. Ours are Industry kinda closing parties cuz locals get open bar...

We went last year on Columbus Day Weekend (Oct. 11) and the following were open: Marquee Day Club (had Armin Van Buren, it was awesome), Wet Republic, and Tao Beach. The rest were closed. Had we come the weekend before pretty much all the major ones were open.

This is good to know... atleast my plan for Bare and Liquid might be still very much doable!
