So if I'm staying at the MGM, and my wife and I want to go here on a Monday, we just need to probably show up before noon and we are in? To get a lounge chair, we need to pay a certain amount worth of food and beverage, correct? I'm trying to research, but so many terms thrown around to this Vegas newb that I just want to make sure.

Yes any real estate (basically anywhere to sit or lay) has a minimum spend attached to it food and beverage at pools as long as your not too close to the pool. If you are it's only beverage (like lily pad or water couch which I believe bare doesn't have anyways) it also gets you expedited entry and no cover charge. This applies to all nightclubs and dayclubs except nightclubs are only beverage spend. If you show up and pay entry you will have access to the pool, bar and walk ways bathrooms etc. but no where to sit except the side of the pool.Originally posted by Dynesh View PostSo if I'm staying at the MGM, and my wife and I want to go here on a Monday, we just need to probably show up before noon and we are in? Ok, thanks for that info. If I contact the guy mentioned above, why is that better then just calling the pool? I'm trying to figure out the hosts thing, as well. Does he just handle what I need and I tip?Originally posted by bosco View PostYes any real estate (basically anywhere to sit or lay) has a minimum spend attached to it food and beverage at pools as long as your not too close to the pool. Give him a call... then give the pool a call... see what they can do for you. Eric is a champ... just say you are from the forum... say a few forum members have recommended him... I am sure he will look after your needs (whatever you may need). Explore what the options are and what he's able to organise for you.

Calling the pool directly is akin to announcing to the staff that you have no idea what you're doing. Always work through a host directly for the best service/results.Originally posted by Dynesh View PostOk, thanks for that info.
