Best Pool (Not Party)

Where's the best pool during the day, not necessarily a "pool party", just somewhere with a good atmosphere, good music and able to get a cabana or seats at reasonable price - ie few buckets of beers ?

Personally have done MGM's main pool outside of Wet for a cabana and Monte Carlo's pool for the executive cabana.

For MGM it was 7/14/13 which was a Monday and the f&b min was $400 among 4 of us.

For Monte Carlo it was a Saturday 7/12/13 and f&b was $800 but we had 10 people. Monte Carlo pricing I received from the concierge via email when I called them:

Lazy River European Day Bed $300 M-Th, $375 Fri-Sun
VIP Canopy Bed $350 Mon-Thurs, $450 Fri-Sun
Lagoon Pool Bed $175 Mon-Thurs, $225 Fri-Sun
Luxury Cabana $450 Mon-Thurs, $550 Fri-Sun
Executive Cabana $600 Mon-Thurs, $800 Fri-Sun

Price does not include tax or 20% autograt. You do have to put a down payment on the cc they charge right then and use towards your final f&b min.

MGM's pool complex is pretty sweet. Several pools with a lazy river. Highly recommend.

We're doing the same thing in 2 weeks. Did it for one day last year in June and had a great time. It's a nice change of pace for the BIG parties.

I'm a big fan of the hotel pools at MGM, Cosmopolitan and The Flamingo. I haven't done a daybed or cabana at any of them, though. Sounds like Monte Carlo is a good pick, too. I think it depends on where you're staying. Lol but I'm pretty lazy, I don't like hauling myself too far in swimwear.
