  • Daylight table locations to avoid?

Taking a look at Chuck's Daylight floor plan it doesn't look like there are too many bad spots at Daylight. Are there any tables to avoid? I also don't see any numbers, similar to light are the areas on the map referred to tiers?

Said another way . . . at Daylight, in all cases, does having a table outweigh not having a table?

It's a pool party, so the same decision applies. Do you want to spend the money to have your own space, and what are you willing to spend for it?

Don't let the last statement throw you. I am looking for feedback on the overall layout. If you asked a similar question about Hak, Marquee or even XS, the feedback will depend by room/location. Boombox/Ling Ling offer something completely different and unless that type of scene is what you are after, it might be better to skip a table, do GA than be stuck in a "bad/unwanted" spot. The mez at Light and the Pavilion at Hak get you close, but not quite - there might be a different decision based on how close to the action you want. Inside vs outside at XS - even then, the specific spot outside in XS might throw some red flags.

That's the type of info I am after. From the look of the layout, two observations: 1 - can't exactly determine where the "VIP Tables" are in relation to the Cabanas (I assume it is the squares flanking the pool under the "star" looking things that I believ to be umbrellas); 2 - it doesn't look like there is a "bad" spot. Due to the rectangular/festival style layout it seems like it isn't really worth jockeying for a particular spot. Just looking for feedback.

There are very few 'bad' spots at a pool party. But, yes the tables/daybeds are the ones you described, no one has said don't get daybed 'x' at daylight so far.

I think being a little closer to the stage if you're on the pool deck with a bed or couch may be a little cooler. This is just considering that the front of the stage area becomes a "dance floor". Everything is close to the pool though, which is good.
