June bachelor party - pool party options

There's a group of us heading to vegas between the 15-19 June for a bachelor party and we are hoping to take in a pool party while we are there.

We had planned to go to Wet Republic but the only problem is we don't arrive until mid afternoon on the 15th (Sunday) so wouldn't be able to guarantee that we could get there before 3pm, so I'm guessing that's far too late to make a Sunday pool party worthwhile?

Our other option is going to a pool party on the Monday, does anyone have any recommendations on which one? I've been told Wet Republic and Bare would be the best options but I thought it best to get some first hand opinions! Is anyone able to let me know what either party is like? I'm presuming they will be much quieter than the weekend pool parties but any more information would be great!

Are there any other options worth considering?

There's going to be 9 of us (all guys) so we were hoping to arrange a day bed/cabana too, are there any good contacts for arranging this, or is it best to stick to the guys listed in the contacts thread?

you planned your bachelor party between a Sunday thru Thursday so yes you're gonna miss a lot of weekend action...a late Wet Republic at 3 will be waaay better than anything on Monday...I've been to Bare and its a lot smaller than Wet and I'm not sure if its hopping on a Monday, but 9 guys can make some noise, especially when the ladies remove their tops.

I'm sure if you roll in to Wet Republic around 2 or 3 you'll be okay but theres always XS nightswim. Also you got luck because there will big events on wednesday & thursday (maybe tuesday) for EDC week

Is Wet even open on Mondays? It wasn't in July of 2013 when we got a cabana at the main MGM pool on 7/14.

Wet republic is awesome place and a must visit party destination

Bare is the primary industry/locals spot on Mondays, so I'd go there over WR especially on a Monday. Yeah you can do WR for three hours on Sunday, but depending on the headliner it might not be worth the cost.

I'd save the $ and do Nightswim at XS or Eclipse at daylight that night instead. Bare on Monday.

Good idea here ^^^^ You should still check out Wet though, even if for just a few hours if you've never been. Or even EBC/Marquee that day. 2-3 hours is fine, just go GA unless you can get a stupid low min. Sometimes you can late because another group may leave early and we can usually Re-Seat something with a lower than norm min if it's not too crazy on the demand late.

Sadly it wasn't me that arranged the dates we're out in Vegas, think the guy who's getting married is quite restricted by other commitments so Sunday-Thursday was the only realistic option!

I've spoken to Wet Republic and even if we arrange a daybed/cabana they can only guarantee entry before 2pm so I think that's ruled out, think we'll head along and try and get in GA but want something organised in advance just in case we miss out on Wet Republic!

Does anyone have an idea which pools could have events on the Tuesday/Wednesday? Haven't been able to find anything as yet!

Thanks for that, I'll aim for Bare for arranging something on the Monday, sounded like the better option of the two from what I've read but thought it'd be best to get some advice on it first!

Thanks, I'll mention it to the rest of the guys to see what they think, we'll probably check out Wet Republic even if its just GA, looks pretty wild so wouldn't want to miss it totally!

I dont know why youre so set on Wet Republic - I presume its cos youre from the UK. Its nowhere near as good as Encore Beach or Marquee Day Club.

You arrive too late though really. The pools are usually busy till 5-6pm. You wont be there long enough to make it worthwhile. Go to XS Nightswim and other than that its just standard pools during the week. Shame, but still good enough.

Seriously though - drop this Wet Republic only thing. Its good, but nothing like as good as the top pool parties.

Wet Republic was thought about only after reading through the forums on here, plus when we were originally meant to be in Vegas Calvin Harris was booked! Think we've pretty much ruled that out now though, cheers for the advice!

Wet gets loads of hype in the UK for some reason. As does Rehab. Truth is Wet is basically average and Rehab is utter toilet!

Agreed, Wet gets packed (which maybe is good depending on your preferences?), and Rehab hasn't been good in years, living off its rep as being one of the first large pool parties i think.

Last year the wednesday of edc week there was Marquee Dayclub & Eclipse, don't know if they will do it again but Hakkasan & Light will be open that night
