EDC week pool parties

I went to Vegas 3 years ago and ended up at Liquid at the Aria. No big names were there but it was an awesome time and the music was great. Really thats all i am looking for. I am going to EDC all 3 nights so i will be seeing all the big names there. I was hoping that i could reserve something for around $1k per day at the Pool Parties to avoid the lines and have a place to chill and get bottle service but it sounds like i will need double that which is crazy! I dont even think i could ring up a $2k food and drink tab during the day unless i wanted to be unconscious by the time EDC starts! We were also looking into what to do on Thu night so the Encore Night Beach Party may be something i will look into.

juiceJH what quote did you get for Diplo on Friday. Has anyone see Diplo before at EDC or anywhere really? How is he and the party he brings?

Yeh anything around the $1k will be hard to come by! The host that I was speaking to at Wet for Sunday (Tiesto) said to bump it up to $1.5k once he realised who was playing!

How many in your group? Might be a good weekend to look at splitting bottle service, looks like they'll be a few of us in town!

Whats the EBC night party like? Im looking to do atleast 1 night pool party, either EBC, XS or Eclipse.

Seriously though, that would be ideal. Unless everyone in your group is married, definitely look into splitting up rooms.

My quote was for 1.4k for a Lily Pad... doesn't seem right to me, since its EDC weekend, I was expecting more of 2k-2.5k....1.4k seems more like an Andreas Patio table.... as for the party he brings...expect lots of twerkin' from the ladies

The rates i'm seeing for the Quad for EDC Fri/Sat are $235/night ... All of the hotels jack up rates sky high, if you aren't going to sleep much anyway theres really no point in booking individual rooms for EDC weekend

Yeah, the trick to EDC is to plan on it and book way in advance. But for EDC I wouldn't even bother with a strip casino hotel and book something slightly off-strip.

How come nobody mentions Liquid? I went there 3 years ago on a Saturday and had a great time. Good loud music and wasnt super packed and the women there were beautiful.

Is Liquid much smaller than other dayclubs? Do they not get the big name djs? I've never heard much about Liquid either. Are prices cheaper if they don't get the big name djs?

It was smaller but it was nice. When i went i paid 150 for a day bed and had an awesome time. Not sure what they have lined up for EDC week as i havent seen anything posted yet.

I dont think Liquid would attract any of the big DJs that weekend, but I could be wrong.
Wet Republic has Steve Aoki, Hardwell and Tiesto
EBC has Diplo, Avicii and Steve Angello.

Still waiting on MDC and Daylight to announce their line-ups. Im expecting Kaskade and Bash Berlin at Marquee, maybe even throw Armin in the mix.

Im leaning towards Hardwell @ Wet > Avicii @ EBC purely based on music preference, for the Saturday

Marquee always picks up new talent post-Ultra/mmw. I'd expect the same from Light. They are probably trying to lock up people who aren't on their current roster or they still don't know what time slot some of their residents have at EDC. It's probably the first reason though.

I think those quotes are low. Also expect your min to jump as soon as you arrive, happened to our group last year several times.
In one case it literally doubled.
