MDC vs. EBC April 26 Need Help

Would like some input into this matter. We have about 13 guys and we are looking to spend about $6k (pre tax and tip) and are confused if we should go to MDC the dj is Triton (no clue who that is) or if we should go to EBC for Avicii.

At MDC we would get a cabana for $4k and maybe at Grand Cabana for $6k. Whereas at EBC we would get a lower cabana or two lilly pads in the middle of the pool. Not sure what to do and what real estate to get.

Which will be the better party?

EBC with Avicii will be the better party, but I'd rather hit Triton at MDC with a nice cabana than a slam packed EBC with a lower cabana for Avicii... Although I'm a bit biased as I don't love Avicii. Two lilly pads could be fun, but not as nice as having a cabana.

Tritonal (2 dj's) is a solid set and do all of the major festivals. They are going to be on early as they are in San Diego later that evening. Not sure what is considered early.

Agree with Chris re EBC over MDC party wise. I'm more about room and comfort so MDC would be my preference for Saturday.

Hands down EBC!! it will be a much better party and 6k is a good budget. I would ask yourself if you want to have your own party in a cabana inviting girls back to it OR would you like to be in the middle of the action where it can get sloppy? In my opinion I would do the cabana since its in the budget and can take advantage of a TV, fridge, safe storage for wallets and phones. You can invite girls back to the cabana and also take the trip to the main pool if you want to get in the middle of the action. Also take note that you cannot order food on the lilly pads because of health codes. PM me for further info for this is what I do as my profession...

Just learned that Avicii won't be at EBC because of his surgery. They might replace him with either Diplo or David Guetta. Do you think it is still worth going to EBC or will MDC be better now?

Depends on who you like... MDC has Tritonal + Paris Blohm. I personally would rather see Diplo than those, but rather see those than Guetta. Your preferences may differ. EBC is my favorite pool party, so I'd probably go with that no matter what DJ was playing if I only could go to one (or only get a Cabana at one).

Bottom line is you can't go wrong with either.

Seconded, for pool parties at least. It still applies at some clubs... Tao, for example.

Rumour is that deadmu5 will be replacing Avicii. Not a fan of his music especially for the pool season. Do you think MDC grand cabana would be better option now?

A host from here? Highly doubt they would book deadmau5 on short notice, not to mention it's not a holiday or fight weekend.

But if they already planned on Avicii, I can see them trying to replace him with a similarly big name. I just don't see Deadmau5 doing it.

Looks like they indeed did get deadmau5, but for XS on 4/25. I'm sure he'll be at EBC the next day too.
