TAO Beach May 9th - rookie here

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion here since this seems to be a great resource. I'm running point on a 13 guy bachelor party staying a the Palazzo. We have arranged for a cabana at Tao Beach for Friday May 9th (anyone else?). I know (based upon what you guys are telling me) that its not the best place in town but will it be good enough? I was quoted 1500 for a 20 person cabana. The way I see it if all 13 of us eat a meal and get wasted hitting 1500 + 28% won't be a problem. What am I missing? Seem pretty easy.
Any Tao veterans have a recommendation on arrival time and cabana location? Anyone have a menu or price list? Since we have bottle service set up for the same night the idea is not to get fall down drunk during the day. Can I order like 80 beer for the cabana or does the waitress have to bring them over one by one?
This is my first day party - what else do I need to know?

You can order whatever you want as long as you hit your minimum. We usually stick to beer/food/water during the days too so we can still be good to go at night.

Thats a smashing deal for 20 (!) guys.

You will go through that minimum in no time whatsoever bud. In minutes. Be aware of that. Although you say you dont wanna get fall down drunk, youll be getting pissed up.

Tao's a good choice Friday cos its smaller and will appear more packed on a Friday.

But yeah - You'll get a load of beers, then no doubt a bottle of something, some pitchers etc etc... You'll double that $1500 I guarantee it. Be a good day mind...

With a guy group on a bach party at a party pool...jou're going to get wasted... Just get hangover heaven or one of those places ready to go, haha! U usually can order the beers by the bucket.

The only way to keep a bachelor party under control is to have a single person order, otherwise you'll completely lose track of what you've spent.

All good advice - thanks! I'll be that guy doing the ordering. Has anyone actually used Hangover heaven??? Might need it to rally if it actually works better than pounding a gallon of water and taking advil

The advantage to Hangover Heaven is it's an IV puting the supplements directly into your blood supply for a quicker result. Comes down to cost.

I don't know about better place (I'm a big fan of Tao Beach for certain situations) but Liquid is definitely the "better" party on Fridays.
