MDC with Kaskade or Wet with Dada Life

Hey guys, I'm having a hard time deciding which pool party we should hit up for my bachelor party on Saturday, April 5th, so I figured I'd seek advice from everyone on here. We're a group of 12 guys willing to spend up to 7k for a cabana at either Wet or MDC. In terms of dj, Kaskade is without question my favorite. I've seen him a bunch live and I know what he brings to the table, but Dada Life looks like they could create a pretty crazy atmosphere as well.

My main concern with MDC is that we're priced out of their Grand Cabana (10k-12k min spend that day) which means we'll have to go with a smaller poolside cabana. Would one of those work for my size group?

My thought process is as follows:
Wet cabana > MDC poolside cabana
Kaskade > Dada Life
Atmosphere of both probably pretty equal? Oh, and it's grand opening weekend for both.

Which pool party would you guys choose if you were in my position?

you also got David Guetta opening Encore Beach and Nicky Romero opening Daylight!

would go with what DJ you like best- if you love Kaskade go with Kaskade!!
it might be worth asking a host at all four just to get an idea of the price difference but I don't think one is going to be like half price or half the min of the others.

Kaskade probably also has the biggest West Coast- CA following between the four. (He sold out the staples center)

Just keep in mind its min plus +28% tax/tip so if your at $7k all in total-your looking for a $5k min

Thanks for the response. There's a ton of good options that weekend but I narrowed it down to mdc and ebc. I also knew to add 28%. When I said 7k, I meant that we are willing to go up to a 7k minimum before taxes and tip.

I'm being quoted 5-6k range for a cabana at all the parties you mentioned above. Do you know anything about the poolside cabanas at MDC? They look smaller so just want to make sure it's a comfortable enough area for us to party. 10k grand cabanas are unfortunately out of our range. Thanks again!

MDC over Wet, but EBC is the best day club in Vegas for sure.

cool cool. yea if there were a better dj than Guetta at EBC, I'd be considering it more, but his music just doesn't do it for me

Wonder what the three-story Bungalow Lofts that have a cabana, living quarters and a party deck on top are going for? I think they have about 10 of those and I think there are like 15 "grand cabanas" that have individual infinity pools- and then some just cabanas with no infinity pool.

Your spending a lot 7k plus tips is almost 10- I would try to get one with a pool- maybe talk to a few different hosts
Also remember the set up- they run along the side down toward the entrance- so you could be close to the dj or closer to the door

Remember Kaskade is also doing Marquee nightclub that night also- so if you had a bungalow it would be like two kaskade shows- have to check the cost

I started a couple of threads in this forum about MDC - I have been to MDC but not EBC and I asked for comparisons between the two. I know you are not choosing between those two clubs but you can get details on MDC from those threads. If you find the threads I think you will see that MDC gets (for the most part) great reviews. The people that don't like MDC are the ones that don't like how crowded MDC gets. But the key part is that one of the hosts on here said that Kaskade at MDC draws the most talent of any pool party in Vegas. If you choose Kaskade at MDC then you know you will be at the pool party with the most talent. It seems to me that if your cabana is in the middle of the action then you will have prime real estate for a very crowded pool party with lots of talent. I don't know how you could choose Wet under those circumstances.

Yeah- BigPimp's threads are worth checking out- was just looking and saw that someone got quoted $4k for 14 guys for kaskade 4/5 for a regular and someone else said the grands with pools are regularly around 4-6k when kaskade is not there

MDC with Kaskade will be insane. The smaller cabanas will work fine. They aren't actually smaller than the Grand Cabanas, what you lose is the private walkway and the pool. Try to get Cabanas 6-8.

Dude any cabana when Kaskade is on is insance. You dont need the grand.
