I was there in July last year as well and got a cabana for $400. It should be noted though that this was a weekday and they were $600 on weekends.
The nice thing about MGM's cabanas is that, unlike all the other hotel pools that I'm aware of, pricing here is F&B minimum.
Attached are a few photos I took of their menu last year.MGM2.jpgMGM3.jpgMGM4.jpg

Thanks epredl. That helps a lot with those pics. Looks like a $400 min isnt hard to get with 2 couples. Ill be there the 1st week in July on a weekday. We spent a day there all day last June, I figure we might as well do it again but with a cabana to relax under.Excalibur January 2008

Yeah no problem.
If I could recommend a cabana, I would shoot for somewhere in the 9-14 range. I was 11 last time I believe and loved it. These are all right on the lazy river and you get 2 free tubes with your cabana rental anyway so may as well use them. 15-26 are pretty far away from the lazy river but much closer to restrooms.
Another plus with 9-14 is that you can hear whoever is spinning at Wet.MGM Cabana Map.jpg

Yeah it's different. I've never stayed at the Signature, but they do have different pools.Originally posted by kp3205 View PostIs Signature different from Grand? saw this posted:

However, MGM's Grand Pool Complex is available to both MGM Grand guests and Signature guests - not sure if it works vice versa though.

Is the music that loud from WR next to 9-14? The last time I was there, we sat next to the river that is backed against the wall of WR. It was closed that day. But if it's perfectly loud enough to be in that area of cabanas then that's perfect for our little group!Excalibur January 2008

Tony - I wouldn't say it's PERFECTLY loud enough as MGM is still playing their music. But it's better than not being able to hear it at all.
QNGO - You can reserve prior on their website.
You'll need to fax, yes fax (or so that's how it was last year), a credit card authorization form in to hold your reservation.

Here is a (apparently outdated - tube TV) photo showing pretty much what you get.Originally posted by tony67 View PostCan anyone shed some light on what's available in the cabana? I tried checking on the mgm website but no info. TV, fridge, anything else?

In the cabana there is a couch on either side (pretty long ones too), an ottoman/coffee table type thing, a wicker cabinet deal with towels, a fridge, a safe, a tv. Something that may or may not matter, but they had extra outlets too for phone chargers, etc.
You can see the 4 loungers out front that are yours as well.
Last year it came with 2 tubes for the lazy river.
